Our mission is simple: to provide a seamless, stress-free experience that our customers love. Our Story: Four Generations of Flooring Excellence

• 1953: The Frazier’s story began with a dream and an $800 loan from a loan shark. Charlie Frazier, an 18-year-old WWII veteran, used the funds to purchase floor-sanding equipment, transforming his Pontiac into a makeshift work vehicle. His father, C.M. Frazier, initially hesitant, soon saw the potential and joined him. Together, they founded Frazier’s Floor Sanding and began managing several crews.
• 1956: A third generation joined the family trade when Charlie’s 9-year-old son, Ken, began learning the business. He spent his time after school and on weekends sanding floors alongside his father.
• 1967: After returning from service in Vietnam, Ken rejoined his father, and they set their sights on a new opportunity: the burgeoning carpet industry. With nylon broadloom carpet just emerging, they recognized a chance to expand.
• 1968: Frazier’s opened its first retail store. To keep it stocked, Ken made twice-weekly trips to Dalton, GA, leaving at 4 a.m. to source materials. The business was a true family affair, with carpet warehoused in Charlie’s garage and padding stored in Ken's.
• 1969: The company broke ground on its Western Avenue building, a location we proudly occupy to this day. Shortly after, our offerings expanded to include ceramic tile, linoleum, vinyl, and area rugs, establishing Frazier's as a comprehensive "everything for the floor" store.
• 2020: The Parton family ushered in the fourth generation of leadership at Frazier's Carpet One. Mitchell Parton, who had joined the sales team in 2016, and his wife, Olivia, stepped into ownership. With a profound respect for the company’s heritage, they are honored to carry on the Frazier tradition of care, quality, and community trust.
